Poll: Peanut Butter Jelly Time

I’ve decided that I wanted to have more interactivity on my blog. So from time to time I’m going to make up a poll to see what everyone thinks. This poll is about an ongoing debate – which do you spread first on your PB&J… the peanut butter or the jelly? I have my preference, what is yours?

I put peanut butter on both slices of bread first, and then my jelly (raspberry preserves) go on one of the slices.

Peanut butter obviously goes on one side of the bread first. Then, HONEY, not jelly, goes on the other side of the bread.

If I’m eating it right away it really doesn’t matter that much, but if I’m saving it for later I put PB first on both slices to preserve the bread from getting too soggy from the jelly.

That is unbelievable. I’ve heard of people putting peanut butter on one slice and jam on the same slice, then putting the bread together. But I’ve never heard of putting peanut butter on BOTH slices first!

I work with a kid who does the whole PB and Honey thing.
I can’t believe eight people have voted and all put peanut butter first (so far).
