I have over 10 years of experience in the IT field as a developer and systems administrator. I started working with computers with my first tape based system and started taking programming classes in High School where I learned BASIC and C++. I expanded my knowledge of high and low level languages at the University of Maine. While working for an ISP in Maine as a Unix Systems administrator I taught myself PERL and have since taught myself VB.NET, PHP, ASP, and other similar languages. I have spent the majority of my career working as a systems administrator. This has allowed me the flexibility of maintaining various servers, learning new services and technologies, and developing my programming skills. I was first introduced to WordPress many years ago and have been in love with it ever since. I now develop custom WordPress themes and plugins. In mid-2010, I launched a premium WordPress plugin called leenk.me, which automatically publicizes your WordPress posts on various social networks.

In my spare time (as if I have any), I enjoy hanging out with my wife and our two beagles and seven cats. We enjoy going to the ballet, blogging, watching baseball, traveling, and reminiscing over our favorite TV show, Lost!
