I’ve been tagged by the Alan over at the Knox Clan.

Here are the rules:

  • Go to the 4th folder in your computer where you store your pictures.
  • Pick the 4th picture in that folder.
  • Explain the picture.
  • Tag 4 people to do the same.
Magnets

Magnets

This is a picture I took a looooong time ago. Back in 2003, I had built myself a small little shadow box and wanted to take some pictures with my new macro lense for my Nikon SLR. These are various magnets that I had saved up. I have a bunch more pictures that I like much better than these. If only I had a nice DSLR, I’d probably still take pictures like this :).

I don’t usually re-tag people because I don’t know who reads my blog… so if you read this, you’re tagged!

5 Things I am Thankful for…

November 27th, 2007  |  Published in just for fun, meme

I was tagged like five or six years ago for this meme… and since I have been kind of “out of it” lately, I haven’t had a chance to really sit down and do much blogging/thinking. So, I hope to get back in the game with this simple post… five things that I am thankful for (yes I know, thanksgiving is over).

1. I am thankful that I can be thankful for things after Thanksgiving!

2. I am thankful for my wife, whom I believe God placed in my life.

3. I am thankful for my dogs, Gus and Woody… the two best beagles ever.

4. I am thankful for my family.

5. I am thankful that I got to rest this weekend… I really needed it!

Bonus: I am also thankful for God and what he has done for me… but that is obvious (which is why I didn’t put it in the normal list).

I’m not going to tag anyone else… because frankly I don’t want to! New comic tomorrow! Have a great night!

Apparently I’ve been infected too…

October 23rd, 2007  |  Published in just for fun, meme

Alan over at The Assembling of the Church has tagged me for this post. I’m suppose tell you what was happening in my life 10/20/30 years ago. The infection mutated for Dan and it did the same for me. I only have to tell you what was happening in my life 5/10/15 years ago… since I was barely alive or not alive for 20 and 30 years ago.

All of these dates are pre-salvation, so you get to hear all the juicy stuff about me… so here it goes.

5 years ago – October 2002
I was 22 years old. I was in school at University of Southern Maine for my Computer Science degree. I was working as a Systems Administrator at GWI (an ISP in Maine). I lived with my friend Paul on 302 West St. in Biddeford. Biddeford is right next to Saco, where I grew up. I only had a few close friends (that’s how I role)… we usually hung out, went to bars, picked up chicks, played poker, played Playstation, got drunk, went to the beach, etc.

10 years ago – October 1987
I was 17 years old. I was attending Thornton Academy High School, I was an average student. A lot of online activity, chatting, porn, MUDs, etc. I was doing plenty of shop lifting too. Involved in laundering money from the grocery store I worked for… until we were ratted out by a friend. Always trying to think up bigger and better scams. Also was involved in building some small scale bombs and napalm – just for fun, nothing too devious. Did a little bit of research into picking locks and stuff – actually still comes in handy today. Dabbled in a tiny bit of hacking and phreaking, mostly phreaking. I had already started doing a little bit of drinking by this age.

15 years ago – October 1982
I was 12 years old. I don’t really remember much about being 12 years old. I guess I spent most of my time playing video games and hanging out with friends. A lot more “innocent” back then.

Man, I just realized I’m probably going to get a lot of weird hits after this post. By the way, most the adults who knew me would say that I was a good kid.

I’ve been quarantined so I’m not going to “infect” anyone else.

7 Things…

May 7th, 2007  |  Published in just for fun, meme

Brandon over at Eleutheros “tagged” me. What this means is that I have to obey the laws of blogging and write seven random things about myself.

Here are the rules:

Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

So, here are 7 random facts/habits about me:

  1. My wife and I own two Beagles, Captain Augustus McCrae (Gus) and Captain Woodrow F. Call (Woody). By the way, they just happen to be the two cutest and best dogs anyone could ever own.
  2. I was born the same date that Mt. St. Helen’s Erupted (May 18th, 1980); I was also born on my parent’s (sixth?) anniversary – Don’t worry, I do not have two different birth-dates, these are the same dates!
  3. I know a tiny bit more than Alan does about cars… :)
  4. My wife and I are prayerfully considering moving to Athens, GA by the end of this year.
  5. I use to hate football, until my friend forced me to learn how to play on Playstation. The same has also come true for Golf.
  6. My favorite flavor of ice cream is Peppermint Stick.
  7. My favorite soda is Moxie – The chicks will think you’re foxy, if you chug-a-lug your Moxie and you don’t show the pain! (you’d understand if you drank it – it’s delicious).

Now I have to tag seven others, so I pick seven people on my lists on my side bar (but I’m not going to tell them, I’m too lazy):
