Because we can’t stand it when we can’t “see” our results. And of course because everyone else needs to “do” something to be ok with God.

i’m not a big advocate of the altar call either but is it supposed to be like making a sacrifice? i guess altar insinuates sacrifice. i don’t really know how this stuff works.
